Hike to the Födinger Alm!

You start the hike at the "Kienesberg-Födinger Alm" car park. From there, take the path along the Laxenbach stream and hike for about an hour along the forest road in the shade of the trees to the Hubertushütte, where you can fortify yourself with regional delicacies.
The path is easily doable with a sporty pushchair!

A visit to the Födinger Chapel is a must. As thanks for his recovery after a serious heart operation, Johann Gebhart (Födinger) built the Marienkapelle chapel in 2010, but unfortunately he did not live to see its inauguration. A May devotion and a mountain mass are held here every year.

The hiking trail is exclusively for hikers - cyclists are not permitted!

Tour and route information

Starting point: Parking lot in Bach/Weyregg am Attersee. Shortly before the Waldgasthof Födinger, a road leads to the parking lot of the Födinger Alm.

Destination: Födinger Alm - also called Hubertushütte.

Car:
A1 from Salzburg -exit Seewalchen - B152 to Weyregg
A1 from direction Wien/Linz -exit Schörfling - B152 to Weyregg

From the west:
Coming via Bad Ischl through the Weißenbachtal valley on the B152 via Steinbach to Weyregg.
By train:
Coming from Salzburg or Linz/Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim or Vöcklabruck and continue with bus no. 562 to Weyregg.

In the center of Weyregg turn left after the bridge and follow the road for 500 meters. At the intersection turn left again for about 2,5 km.
