The tour starts at Elisabethallee in 4866 Unterach opposite the "WirtsGuad bei da Remise" inn and the Titze doctor's surgery.

Start opposite the "WirtsGuad bei da Remise" inn and follow the signs for cycle path R2 towards St. Gilgen. Gilgen.
After 7km turn left onto the B154 main road to St. Gilgen
At 7.5km turn left towards the Hemetsberger gravel works. Now follow the signs for the mtb route "Rund um den Schafberg". Pass the barrier and continue along a forest road to the Eisenaueralm
At 13.2 km, turn right towards Eisenauer Alm, Buchberghütte. After a short push (max. 10 minutes) you reach the Eisenaueralm. There are two catered huts on the alp. Highest point of the tour.
Follow the signs "Rund um den Schafberg" and ride down the forest road towards Attersee, Schwarzensee.
At 19.4 km, turn left towards Attersee.
An alternative would be to turn right towards Schwarzensee, circle the lake and ride back the same way to the fork in the road. (highly recommended)
At the end of the gravel road, turn left onto Atterseestraße and cycle along the Attersee to Unterach.

Start finish: WirtsGuad at da Remise or restaurant in Unterach. Gastronomy in the village of Unterach.
Eisenaueralm: 2 serviced huts.

Views of Attersee and Mondsee. Eisenaueralm with a view of the Schafberg.

From the west - Bad Ischl-Weißenbach-Unterach
Train:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna to Vöcklamarkt. Linz/Vienna to Vöcklamarkt, continue with the Attergau Bahn to Attersee, continue by bus to Unterach

From Salzburg via the A1 - Mondsee exit
From Vienna/Linz via the A1 - St. Georgen exit
