Lukas Sternath, winner of 1st prize and seven special prizes at the ARD Music Competition 2022, is a rising star on the classical music scene. In the 2024/25 season, he will perform as an ECHO Rising Star at venues including the Philharmonie Essen, the Nikolaisaal Potsdam and the Gewandhaus Leipzig. A special highlight is his duo concert with Igor Levit in London. At the Salzburg Festival, he will perform with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg under Ádám Fischer. Sternath will once again be a guest at the Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden: following his debut with the Vienna Philharmonic Summer Academy, he will present himself to the audience for the first time as a soloist in a recital with works by Beethoven, Schumann and Liszt.

Already acclaimed at the Musikverein Vienna, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Tonhalle Zurich, Sternath inspires audiences with his extraordinary musical maturity and impressive stage presence.
