 Classical / Orchestra Concert

After the 200th birthday of Anton Bruckner, which the UAS-UpperAustrianSinfonietta celebrated in 2024 with his rarely performed Symphony in F minor, WAB 99, the so-called "Study Symphony", it will pay tribute to the musical ambassador Johann Strauss Jr. in 2025.

In the first part, alongside the celebrant and his operetta overture to "A Night in Venice", other composers from the "Concert March and Waltz" genre will be featured, followed by a cross-section of the popular works of the Waltz King in the second part.

 Let yourself be enchanted by the famous melodies, the captivating rhythms, and the lively sounds from the pen of Johann Strauss Jr. and his brother Josef Strauss! The UAS-UpperAustrianSinfonietta, a youth orchestra of the Upper Austrian Music School Association, will delight under the direction of Peter Aigner.
